Top 5 Community Stories of 2022

Greeting Stewards!

Here at PAHS we do a lot of work exploring narrative and its role in medicine. In December 2022, The Boston Medical Center shared their top five community stories that they believe made the biggest impact. These five stories focused on the overdose crisis, addiction, sickle cell disease, and burnout among healthcare workers. These stories have much to teach us, including about the lived experience of the COVID-19 pandemic. We can learn about ourselves, yes, and also expand our imaginations toward what is yet to come, for we know we must study the past if we want to define and change the future.

On another note, our 2023 forums, exploring the theme of “Radical Hope,” are registering now for the June 13 forum!

Our July 11, August 8, September 12, October 10 and November 14 forums will be open for registration as we start to approach them. All of our forums take place online via Zoom from 6pm to 8pm CST. For more information check out our Forum Page

Follow us on social media @umnpahs for future updates on registration and more!

Warmly,
