To Next Year & Finding Hope In The Future

Greeting Stewards! 

We hope that you enjoy music because today’s resource is a song! Our previous blog post focused on how people can find solace and comfort in literature. I also believe this is also possible through music.

I stumbled upon this song, Next Year, at a friend’s choir concert I attended back in July. Like our forums, their concert theme revolved around the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. This song was one of the pieces they performed that stuck with me.

The original intention of the song was to help raise money for the COVID-19 Emergency Fund back in 2020. Even though it may be two years old, I believe the song and the meaning behind it is still relevant. Although we still face uncertainty, we also seek to be hopeful for things to change and look forward to next year. 

“Next Year” is such a lovely song and I hope you check it out and enjoy it as much as I did!
